Volunteers are the heart of Young Paws Cat Rescue & Sanctuary. Whether it’s fostering, transporting, helping at events, or supporting behind the scenes, your time and compassion make all the difference!

Provide rides to and from the vet, foster homes, and adoption events. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required. (Training provided for safe handling and transport procedures.)
Open your home to an animal in need. Fosters provide temporary care for cats, dogs, kittens, puppies, medical cases, or seniors.
(Full foster training provided, including neonatal care if needed.)

Assist behind the scenes with data entry, record-keeping, scheduling, and communications. (Training provided as needed for our systems.)
Help plan and support fundraising activities that sustain our rescue. This may include organizing adoption events, community fundraisers, donation drives, or assisting with sponsorship outreach. (Experience preferred, but training and guidance provided.)
Share your experience! Teach or mentor others in areas like bottle-feeding, TNR, dog training, or vet tech skills. (This role is for experienced individuals — no training required.)

Specialize in the unique needs of dogs — from walking and leash training to socialization and enrichment. (Training provided.)

Experienced volunteers who support, guide, and oversee others within their group — such as transport, TNR, fundraising, or animal care.
Whether you love hands-on animal care, prefer helping behind the scenes, or want to share your knowledge with the community, there’s a place for you at Young Paws Cat Rescue & Sanctuary. Training is provided for many roles, so you’ll feel confident and supported. Every role makes a difference, and together we can change lives — one paw at a time.
